Je tiens à vous informer que ce mercredi 7 novembre a Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio/ USA. M. Ahmed Ould Dadah, le leader de l’opposition mauritanienne tiendra une conférence sur la démocratie naissante en Afrique.

Ahmed Ould Daddah, of the rally of Democratic Forces Party, the largest party within the Mauritanian Parliament, was the runner-up in the 2007 presidential election and now bears the title head of opposition for his party.
Daddah is half-brother of the first Mauritanian president, Mokhtar Ould Daddah. He has a degree in economic sciences and served as economic advisor to the president in the 1960s. He also served as governor of the Mauritanian Central Bank in the 1970s and, briefly, as minister of trade and finance in 1978.
He was arrested and released on several occasions for demonstrating against former government officials and practices.
